A. Lange and Sohne at The Ritz
November 5th, 2009On an un-seasonally warm evening on November 5th, A. Lange & Sohne hosted a dinner at the popular Ritz restaurant in Newport Beach, introducing their newest addition, the fabulous and innovative 'LANGE ZEITWERK' wristwatch. Traditional Jewelers was delighted to be able to invite a group of watch collectors to enjoy the introduction of this fine timepiece, with its stunning new design. Interest was quickly stirred when the fine mechanics were explained in detail by the brand president Philippe Bonay and brand-representative Betsy Borkowski. Though a more modern design, the timepiece still reflects the signature brand identity exemplified in the large dual window date display. 'The innovative jumping numerals mechanism, displays the hours and minutes in a larger-than-ever format to assure perfect legibility, constituting the first truly mechanical alternative to the indication of time with rotating hands.' With its superlative craftsmanship and unwavering attention to detail, the 'LANGE ZEITWERK' has most certainly stirred the interest of watch experts everywhere.
