House of Lange - Hollywood
October 27th 2008Perched on the side of the Hollywood Hills in a magnificent private home, A. Lange & Soehne staged a week - long event in Los Angeles, bringing 'Saxon Art of Watch-making' to Southern California. On the last day of this innovative event, Traditional Jewelers staff members and guests were invited to learn the fine art of watch making and engraving. Guided by master watchmakers, polishers and engravers our group was given the opportunity to try their hand at these fine crafts and soon gained a good understanding of the enormous amount of work that goes into fabricating fine time-pieces. The exhibit was one of a kind, with a show of rare and limited collectors pieces, a unique animated presentation projected onto the vast sliding doors and a warm welcome and introduction by the President of Lange USA, Marcia Mazzocchi. The evening culminated with a fine dinner in the luscious gardens of the residence amidst great company.
