Lula Halfacre Honored at Women's Jewelry Association Excellence Gala

The Women’s Jewelry Association was pleased to announce its Hall of Fame honorees for its annual Awards for Excellence gala on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Chelsea Pier in New York City. In addition to Lula Halfacre, many other women and men were honored at the event.

Final selection of award recipients was based on contributions to the jewelry industry and the association. WJA president Kendra Bridel Weinman said, “These women have successful careers, yet all of them have found ways to give back to our industry and their communities. They serve as role models for all of us.” Winners were chosen by a WJA committee.

 

Established in 1984, the WJA Annual Awards for Excellence dinner is one of the most well attended and highly anticipated events in the jewelry industry each year.
