Malibu Opening Party
August 28th, 2008On August 28th, 2008 Traditional Jewelers and Angeleno Magazine hosted the opening of Traditional Jeweler's third location at the Country Mart in Malibu. The Country Mart is located on Cross Creek Road in an enclave of a selection of multiple luxury stores and restaurants catering to the exclusive community of Malibu. Traditional Jewelers is located next to Nobu Restaurant and the Optical Shop of Aspen, and stands proudly displaying its logo atop the 'Mission Revival Style' store-front with enticing displays in its arched window. The guests arriving had their cars parked by 'Valet of the Dolls' facilitating easy access to the party. A fabulous staging was accomplished by 'Town and Country Event' rentals whose crew carpeted the available exterior space and erected a series of draped gazebos with seating facilities. 'Adonis Catering' passed around delectable hors d'oeuvres and fine wines, and 'Sea Lily' strategically placed gorgeous flower arrangements reflecting refreshing strong colors in the outdoor area and inside the busy store. The guest-list was impressive and created a lively atmosphere throughout the evening. The store was packed to capacity with guest admiring the fine merchandise on display. Rolex, Cartier, Corum, Rodney Rayner, Roberto Coin, and Kwiat were represented at the opening and very much the object of admiration by the many guests eager to see what Traditional Jewelers has to offer. The evening was highlighted by the benefiting charity, Mending Kids, founded by Chris Embleton with Robin Gibson as president. The guests had the opportunity to meet several of the staff of this fine institution, host families and also some of the little children fortunate enough to have received urgent treatment for serious health conditions which they could not have afforded in their native countries of origin.
