Moms, Dads and Grads - Fashion Island
May 8th 2008Our annual spring celebration took place on May 8th at our Fashion Island location, with a percentage of the proceeds of the evening's sales benefiting, Miracles for Kids. Riviera co-hosted the event, celebrating our moms, dads and grads, with delicious food supplied and catered by "Tantalum" in Long Beach, fine wines donated by Freemark Abbey in Napa Valley, Vodka by Stockholm Krystal, with Smart water and Vitamin water for refreshment on this warm evening. David August Lifestyle Outfitters staged an informal fashion show modeling the latest in men's fashion, accessorized with watches and men's jewelry provided by Traditional Jewelers. Floral Couture provided exotic flower displays, and "dj milo rock" hip music to keep spirits high. A wide range of vendors showed off their finest ware with such acclaimed participants as Audemars Piguet, Bulgari, Harry Winston, Baume & Mercier and Girard Perregaux for fine timepieces. Famed diamond designers Kwiat and Beaudry brought in extensive diamond collections, the well-known Italian designers Roberto Coin and DiModolo displayed their gorgeous playful Italian lines, Aaron Basha received much attention for their well known baby shoe line, whereas David Yurman drew his collectors, Leslie Greene displayed gorgeous cuff bracelets, and Judith Ripka playful colored stone and diamond designs. The guest with the highest purchase for the evening won a weekend retreat at Freemark Abbey in Napa Valley and a sports coat tailored by David August Lifestyle Outfitters.
