Traditional Celebrates Erik Halfacre's Nomination as President
September 24th, 2009Traditional Jewelers and Riviera Magazine celebrated two major events at the annual Watch Event 'White Party' on September 24th. Not only was it the company's 30th Anniversary, but also a surprise announcement was made with the nomination of Lula and the late Marion Halfacre's son, Erik, as the new President of the family business. This news was met with much applause and hearty congratulations. To emphasize this occasion the USC Trojan Marching band made an impressive entry honoring this auspicious event.
The white decor and attire emphasized the 'White Party' theme, to match beautiful floral arrangements by Vida floral designs. Signature Stockholm Krystal Vodka cocktails and delicious hors d'ouevres were served by the delightful 24 Carrots Catering staff, and HammerSky Vineyards and International Wine Ventures supplied delectable wines for the occasion.The evening consisted of a 'watch hunt' which qualified the upwards of 300 guests to participate in a raffle for a his or hers Breitling wristwatch. Pueblo Bonito Resorts awarded two separate vacation packages at two of their luxury resorts in Cabo San Lucas to those individuals with the evenings' highest transactions. A percentage of the proceeds of the evening's sales was donated to Children's Bureau, a private, non-profit organization committed to the welfare and care of underprivileged children. This fabulous event was a great success and will be remembered for many years to come.
